DC

We made it to DC this evening!  All of our bags made it so far too with minor damage.  We thought we were being punked when we were the only 2 people left waiting for 3 of the 5 bags.  Luckily, we went to lost baggage and the lady found them at over-sized baggage.   I got some crazy stares from people as I pushed the cart staked full with 4 suitcases and Allison's carry-on along with Allison pulling 2 bags.  Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures.  The suitcases are actually hockey bags, so that would probably explain it.

Here are some pictures of the donations and bags while we were packing them.
 Amani Baby Cottage Bag!

 Princess dress for Amani
 Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, and More
 The pile's of stuff
 Some of the headbands!
 Pillowcase dresses
An almost complete view of the room during packing
The Bags All Ready.  All right at 50 lbs!!
Darling quilted hearts and  crosses complete with bible verses.
Made with LOVE.
So excited to crown Ugandan Princesses with these.

Our church commissioned us on Sunday, and we had a reception afterwards.  The outpouring of love and support was completely humbling, and we feel SO blessed to have this church family.  A special thanks to my Grandma/ Mary Jo for her servant's heart.  We wish we had words to describe her work she's done this whole trip for us, but there really are none.  She's a separate post all together.  She planned the whole reception, and it was absolutely perfect.
 Table and Delicious Cake
 Neon Colors. (Our favorite)
So blessed to have an AMAZING best friend.
Love following God's Journey with you!

We also requested to sing Jesus Loves The Little Children to end church.  We both were in tears as God's presence and provision was felt throughout the sanctuary.

Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
They are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.
